ALPMA honored as a “volunteer-friendly company”

A great honor for ALPMA: End of October the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior honored the company as a volunteer-friendly company at the “Blaulichtempfang – Sicheres Bayern” (Blue Light Reception – Safe Bavaria) event in Nuremberg. The award recognizes the special commitment of companies that actively support their employees in their voluntary work in aid and rescue organizations.

Three colleagues who, in addition to their work at the company, are also involved in the Rott am Inn volunteer fire department, accepted this special award on behalf of ALPMA. ALPMA enables its employees who are active in the volunteer fire department or the THW (Federal Agency for Technical Relief) to participate in operations at any time – with full leave of absence, of course. To ensure that every minute counts in an emergency, special parking spaces are even available for firefighters directly in front of the company building.

In addition, ALPMA maintains a close partnership with the Rott am Inn volunteer fire department. This cooperation is actively practiced by both sides: Regular drills are held on the company premises, and ALPMA also provides financial support to the fire department for various projects. This cooperation underscores how important social engagement and the promotion of volunteer work are to the company.

A total of around 70 colleagues at ALPMA volunteer their time – not only with the fire department, but also with the THW, the mountain rescue service, the water rescue service, and the rescue dog unit. This diverse commitment is greatly appreciated and actively supported by the management and the entire workforce.

“We are proud of our employees who dedicate their free time to ensuring the safety of others – and we consider it a matter of course to support them in the best possible way,” emphasizes Frank Eberle, Managing Director of ALPMA.
