New construction project: Investment in the Rott am Inn location

Die Unternehmensleitung und ALPMA-Gesellschafter setzen gemeinsam mit Bürgermeister Daniel Wendrock und Vertretern der Baufirma Grossmann den ersten symbolischen Spatenstich für die neue Montagehalle.

ALPMA celebrated the start of a forward-looking construction project with a groundbreaking ceremony Mid November. Together with Mayor Daniel Wendrock and representatives of the construction company Grossmann, the company management and ALPMA shareholders took the first symbolic spadeful of earth for the new assembly hall.

In the first construction phase, an assembly hall measuring around 3,500 m² with a height of approximately 12.5 m will be built on the site of the former parking areas. It will be built to the latest energy and technical standards, creating optimal conditions for efficient processes and innovative manufacturing concepts. This will significantly increase ALPMA's assembly capacities and improve flexibility in production – a clear benefit for customers worldwide. Last year, ALPMA completed the new parking areas for employees in preparation for the major project, paving the way for the current construction work.

“With this new building, we are sending a clear signal about Germany as a business location – and about our firm commitment to long-term production and development in Rott am Inn,” emphasized Dr. Johannes Stock, Head of Operations, at the groundbreaking ceremony. “The new assembly hall will enable us to work more efficiently and better serve the growing demand from our customers.”

Mayor Wendrock was also delighted with the investment: “ALPMA is an important employer and a significant company for our community. The decision to expand here locally is a strong signal for Rott am Inn as a business location.”

Completion of the assembly hall is planned for next year. In a second construction phase, the project will be supplemented by the construction of a new modern office building.
